Terms and Conditions for Reiki Retreats

1. Cancellation and Refund Policy

All cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled workshop. If cancellation occurs within this timeframe, participants may choose to either reschedule for a future workshop or receive a refund (minus a small administrative fee). Cancellations made after this period will not be eligible for a refund, although rescheduling may still be possible depending on availability.

2. Non-Substitution for Medical Advice or Treatment

Reiki and energy healing are complementary practices and are not substitutes for professional medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. Participants should always seek advice from a licensed healthcare professional for any health conditions or concerns they may have. Anahata Energy Healing and Kylie Cobb are not liable for any medical issues that may arise during or after the retreat.

3. Confidentiality

Any personal information, stories, or sensitive discussions shared by participants during the retreat are considered confidential. Kylie Cobb and Anahata Energy Healing will not disclose such information to any third parties unless required by law. Participants are also encouraged to respect each other’s privacy.

5. Media Release

By participating in the retreat, attendees (and their parents/guardians) consent to any photographs or videos taken during the event being used for promotional purposes by Anahata Energy Healing, unless otherwise stated. If you do not wish to have your image captured, please notify Kylie Cobb prior to the workshop.

6. Limitation of Liability

While every precaution is taken to ensure the safety of participants during the Reiki Retreat, Anahata Energy Healing and Kylie Cobb are not liable for any injuries, loss, or damages that may occur during or as a result of the workshop. Participation is at the participant’s own risk.

7. Potential Risks and Effects of Reiki

Although Reiki is generally considered a safe and gentle healing practice, participants may experience various physical, emotional, or energetic responses, including:

  • Emotional Release: Some participants may feel emotions rising to the surface as blockages are cleared. This can range from feelings of peace to moments of sadness, anger, or even joy.

  • Physical Sensations: Participants may experience tingling, warmth, or coolness in different areas of the body during or after the session. These sensations are typically part of the body's energetic adjustments.

  • Fatigue or Increased Energy: Reiki may cause temporary feelings of tiredness or a surge in energy as the body integrates the healing.

  • Detoxification Symptoms: Occasionally, after Reiki, individuals may experience mild symptoms like headaches, fatigue, or digestive changes, as their body releases toxins or processes energetic shifts.

These responses are temporary and part of the healing process. Participants are encouraged to rest, drink plenty of water, and honor their body’s needs following a Reiki session. If any unusual or concerning symptoms persist, participants should consult a medical professional.

8. Individual Results May Vary

Reiki is a deeply personal and individualised experience, and as such, results will vary from person to person. Some participants may experience immediate and profound shifts, while for others, the benefits may be more subtle or emerge gradually over time.

Factors such as a person’s openness to the experience, their current emotional or physical state, and their unique energetic makeup can all influence the outcomes of Reiki attunement. While Reiki can support overall well-being, balance, and personal growth, Anahata Energy Healing and Kylie Cobb do not guarantee specific outcomes for each participant.
